INSEASON Studio

Privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

Your trust matters more to us than anything we could do with your data. Here's what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

1.Who we are

INSEASON Studio (“INSEASON”, “we”, “us”) runs inseason.studio, an online library of templates, B-roll and stock content for creators. The business is run by [to confirm: business or company name]in Australia, and we're responsible for your personal information (in GDPR terms, the “controller”).

We have members all over the world, so this policy is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and US state privacy laws such as California's. Wherever you live, you can contact us at hello@inseason.studio.

2.What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never in plain text).
  • Payment details: your plan, payment history and billing country. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • How you use the studio: what you download, save, add to moodboards or open in Canva, so the studio works and remembers your things.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form.
  • Creator and ambassador applications: your name, email, social handles, where you're based, sample clips or links, and payment details if you're accepted.
  • Technical information: your device, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools (see “Cookies” below).

3.How we use it

We use your information to:

  • create and run your account and give you access to what you've paid for;
  • take payments, send receipts and remind you before a yearly renewal;
  • send account emails, such as password resets and changes to our terms;
  • answer your questions and review applications;
  • pay creators and ambassadors;
  • keep the studio secure and stop misuse, such as account sharing or bulk downloading;
  • understand what's popular so we can make better content;
  • send news, new drops and offers, but only if you've said yes. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

5.Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising. We only share it with services that help us run INSEASON, under agreements that require them to protect it:

  • Stripe takes payments and manages subscriptions.
  • Supabase stores accounts and the member library.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Resend sends account emails such as receipts and password resets.
  • Our email newsletter tool sends news and new-drop emails, only if you've signed up.
  • Canva opens templates when you choose to edit one (Canva's own privacy policy applies there).
  • Meta (Instagram and Facebook) if you apply through a form in one of our ads.
  • Form and analytics tools collect applications and help us understand how the site is used.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a new owner if the business is ever sold (and they'd have to follow this policy).

6.Where your information is stored

Some of the services above store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. When information moves between countries, we use services that protect it with recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7.Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar tools:

  • Essential: to keep you logged in, remember your settings (like your hemisphere on the content calendar) and keep the site secure. These are always on.
  • Analytics: to count visits and see which pages are useful. Where the law requires it, we only use these with your permission.
  • Marketing: if we run ads, to see whether they work. These are only used with your permission where required.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, though you may need to log in more often.

8.How long we keep it

  • Account and usage information: while your account is open, then up to 2 years after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires, usually 5 to 7 years.
  • Unsuccessful creator applications: deleted within 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them.
  • Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.

9.Keeping it safe

We use secure, encrypted connections, store passwords scrambled, give access only to people who need it, and choose providers with strong security. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

10.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that's wrong;
  • delete your information (we may need to keep some records, such as tax records);
  • send your information to you or another service in a common format;
  • stop or limit how we use it, or object to a particular use;
  • stop marketing emails, at any time, using the unsubscribe link.

Email hello@inseason.studio from the address on your account. We'll reply within 30days, free of charge, and we won't treat you differently for asking. If someone is asking on your behalf, we may ask them to show they're allowed to.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator: in Australia the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or in the EU your national data protection authority.

11.For US residents

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights above to know, correct and delete your information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we don't use sensitive personal information to profile you. We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as an opt-out request.

12.Children

INSEASON Studio is for adults and businesses. It isn't aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

13.Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is important, we'll email members before it applies. You can always find the latest version here, alongside our terms of service.
